FAQs
How long does the process take?
How many sessions depends entirely on you and your own personal history, your age, and how it is that your system needs to process what is going on with you. You may be someone that has suppressed their emotions all their life, or feel things very deeply, in which case the process may take longer.
Equally, you may just have something out of balance in the Physical Aspect - a deficiency of something, or an imbalance in your gut microbiome which is throwing your whole system out of line and a simple correction can make a staggering difference.
How many symptoms you have going on can be an indicator of length but not always. It is an individualised process and part of the journey is in the learnings of each of the lessons along the way. It may sound hard at the start to let go of the destination when we are so focused on the end point, but most of my clients feel extreme benefit in the work in and of itself in each session before they’ve even reached the finish line.
How do I choose a practitioner?
Have a look through the list of practitioners and see who resonates the most with you and then you can reach out and either join their waiting list or book a free 15 minute discovery call, depending on their availability. All practitioners offer a 15 min discovery call prior to sessions beginning so you can get a feel for the practitioner and check they are a good fit for you.
What format are the 1:1 sessions and can you offer them in person?
All CSH practitioners offer 1:1 sessions online, which last for 1 hour, making them accessible internationally.
You will need to check with the individual practitioner as to whether they offer in-person sessions as well. (Amy offers 1:1 in-person session in Stroud if you are local to the area).
Sessions are typically held weekly or fortnightly until which point the process has been taught to the client and they feel ready to do their own work. At that point, the sessions are typically scheduled further apart until the client feels their process of working with the practitioner is complete. All past clients have the opportunity to check back in for one-off appointments in the future should they feel the need to.
How much do 1:1 sessions cost?
The investment will vary from practitioner to practitioner depending on their experience. Amy’s sessions cost £180/ hour online or in-person.
How do you know when you have finished?
There is a very clear end to the process just as there is a very clear start and right from the beginning we are teaching the client the process, giving them the tools so that ultimately they can complete their own process, fully empowered.
How can I join Amy’s waiting list?
Amy’s waiting list is now closed but if you are on our mailing list you will be notified when it next opens. Due to her commitments with teaching this work there are very few appointments available and so the wait can be a long time.
Is it suitable for children?
This process is only available to adults, however if you are a parent of a child or a caregiver, the child will benefit and may even heal entirely by you going through the process yourself, and advice on how you can support them will be given as part of your own work.
Will I have to confront past traumas?
Only if that is something you feel safe to do. The process takes into account exactly what is suitable and safe for your system and is fully trauma informed. If confronting your past is too painful/inappropriate then that won’t be the right path for you and there will be different options for you to heal.
What is the cancellation policy for sessions?
You will need to check with the individual practitioner for their own cancellation policy. For Amy, 48 hours notice is required. If it is less than that time, and the slot cannot be filled, then payment in full for the session will be required.
Do you have a GDPR privacy policy?
